Amethyst feels as if she doesn’t belong, Steven and her go on a quest just like the “No Home Boys.” Hay is not comfortable. Steven learns about the Kindergarten. Pearl finally tells Amethyst she belongs, in a sort of backhanded way.
Lars is jealous of Sadie having any friends other than him and when he hears that Sadie is going to a party with Steven and Reynoldo he has to go to, just because Sadie can’t have other friends. We get to see the beginning of Lars low self-esteem and get to discuss how trauma can leave a scar.

Why does Marc hate Ronaldo so much?????lol Ronaldo is having an existential crisis and it’s up to his good friend Steven and his little brother Peedee to help him out during this time.
Steven has grown a lot from secret team. Now Connie is keeping secrets and he knows where that leads. HCAT discuss Nuclear families and explains some possible cultural differences that may explain why Connie would lie to her parents.

This episode we discuss episodes 9 and 10 of SU. In Tiger Millionaire, we get to discuss family roles of the crystal gems further, as well as gender preferences/roles (briefly.) A brief discussion of parentification in adolescents vs. parental figures as well as knowing your fan base with Steven as Tiger Millionaire. Amethyst is finally able to be her authentic self to the other gems and see that they do accept her.
Steven’s lion did not have a lot of psychology in it, but we do discuss it and talk about rational vs irrational fear.
