Political Message

March 11, 2020 · Discuss on the Geek Therapy Forum

Greg and Steven start creating music about Lapis Lazuli when the wailing stone starts WAILING, which freaks everyone out. At first, Greg feels he shouldn’t get involved but Steven believes this is a problem he can solve. We all have that one person we want to impress for Greg it’s the Crystal Gems. Greg has messed up in the past and wants to help them now so that he can prove that he is not a constant screw up.

When is it better to tell the truth about something big that is happening versus lying to protect someone from being scared of the unknown. Steven sees the difference from both points of view in political power.

Lion Party

December 23, 2018 · Discuss on the Geek Therapy Forum

In this episode we breakdown Lion 2: The Movie, and Beach Party! Here we discuss feelings of inadequacy and impostor syndrome with Connie. We also compare and contrast the lives of Steven and Connie and how both strive for what the other has. In Beach Party we examine the idea of collateral damage in both the SU universe and in a more realistic setting in our own lives. We also examine the benefits of games and how they can be used to bring people together and how they can be used therapeutically.
